Corban Construction is celebrating its 38th year in business!! We are a second generation family owned and operated business, founded in 1987 upon the principles of God and family, and we continue to operate under those values.
We are a state certified building contractor (CBC1251247) and we have been providing services for the central Florida area since 1987. More specifically, we have been serving the Villages since 1991.
Every job we undertake, whether large or small, we endeavor to service each one with equality, and professionalism.
We offer complimentary estimates and complete design/build services. We take a client's initial vision and then expand those ideas and proceed to develop them into a full set of drawings, ready for permitting.

Paul and Cyndi Caruso have been married for 34 years, and have owned and operated Corban Construction for 20 years. In 2005 they acquired Corban from Cyndi's parents, who founded the business in 1987. Paul has an AS degree in Business from Lake Sumter State College and has been a licensed building contractor (State of FL License: CBC1251247) in the state of Florida since 2005. Cyndi also earned her AS in Business degree in 1986 from LSSC. Apparently, they both had an Accounting class together back in 1984, but neither really remembers the other. They didn’t meet up again until June of 1990.
Paul handles all of the projects from start to finish: He's the guy you'll meet initially, and who will prepare your estimate. He will answer your questions, and address any of your concerns during the project, and will manage it from inception to completion. The buck stops with Paul - no middle men here.
Cyndi is responsible for all of the financial aspects of the company, and client relations. She mostly works in the office, but sometimes she tags along with Paul to client meetings, so you might get to meet her!

They have 2 children:
Andrew, who is a FULL service auto mechanic and owns his OWN business
Lake County Auto

Nicole, she is the Creative Director who handles our website / social media pages. Also, any design help that clients need. Recently she has taken on a bigger role of Permitting Technician - where she handles all permit applications and ensures all documentation and compliance requirements are met for each project.

They also have 3 adopted fur kids who keep life interesting and fun: Aslan and Asher their 2 Golden Retrievers and Citrus their cat.

Paul and Cyndi are very active in their church, The Fellowship, they like to watch movies, and enjoy spending time on their boat on weekends. Paul is a former PGA teaching professional (yes, he can give you a free tip on how to improve your golf swing), and enjoys participating in amateur golf tournaments in the central Florida area. Paul is a Nascar fan, and his favorite driver will always be #3, Dale Earnhardt. He is also an avid Washington Redskins fan, while Cyndi loves her Chicago Bears. She teaches Sunday School (with Paul) at The Fellowship church, and works out at Orange Theory Fitness regularly. She loves loves loves ELVIS! And, enjoys listening to music, watching college fast pitch softball, true crime shows, and all cooking shows. She also loves to cook for her family and friends.

Many people wonder where the name “Corban” came from. Most clients assume it’s our last name, or perhaps a first name. The name Corban was chosen by our parents in 1987. They prayed about what to name their new construction company...
God led them to the following biblical passage:
Mark 7:11 NIV
"But you say that if a man says to his father or mother: Whatever help you might otherwise have received from me is CORBAN (That is a gift devoted to God.")

When we acquired Corban Construction in January 2005, it was our hope to always keep God first in our family and our business and to ensure that Corban Construction will always remain a gift devoted to God.

KENNY - 2013
Kenny was a great and rare find! Paul was in Lowes and mentioned to a manager that he was looking for a lead framer. The manager knew of Kenny, who had been in the industry for over 30 years, was very knowledgeable, and was looking for work. Paul called him, and the rest is history! Kenny is our project advisor. We are very blessed to have him for 12 years and counting!!

DAVID - 2021
David is Paul's older brother who has relocated from NC to join our Corban family. David makes sure materials are ready to go on job sites, and coordinates deliveries. David also brings years of experience with him, and we couldn't be happier to have him here!

RICHARD - 2022
My dad (our co-founder) always says "people know people" and they sure do! Richard is the father - in - law of one of our amazing subcontractors. He was working in a nursery and looking for a change, so we hired him on the spot and never looked back! Richard keeps our jobsites spic and span and makes sure the guys have the materials they need. He's very hard working and a wonderful asset to our team!

JOSEPH - 2022
Joseph is a versatile and hard-working employee. No matter what task he undertakes he always gives a 110%. Joseph has been a great addition to our Corban family, and we are excited to continue to watch him grow and learn.

PAT - 2023
They say you can't go home again, but actually, you can. Pat worked for us many years ago, and now he is back. Pat was our go-to guy then and picked right back up where he left off. We are happy to have him back with our team.

TYLER - 2025
We are excited to welcome back Tyler! He originally worked for us back in 2023, where he made a strong impression with his work ethic, and framing skills. After some time away, Tyler has recently rejoined the team and brings with him even more experience and dedication.

We hired Paul and his crew at Corban Construction to build a 20'x20' Florida Room on the back of our home, and the entire process—from permitting and planning to site prep, construction, and finishing—went smoothly without a hitch. The addition blends seamlessly with the original structure, as if it was part of the house from day one. The roof lines, eaves, soffits, tile transitions, and knockdown ceiling are a perfect match. I recently contracted Corban Construction Company to pour a new concrete ramp to replace the old wooden ramp into the storage shed of Joining Hands in Food Ministry located at 130 S. Lone Oak Drive in Leesburg, FL. Owner Paul Caruso and his crew did a superb job framing and pouring the concrete ramp. They even constructed the ramp's surface to perfectly match the slope of the parking lot to avoid tipping over the carts as they enter and exit the storage shed. Gardenia floor plan expanded lanai - We are so delighted with our expanded lanai. In the typical Gardenia floor plan the lanai was only 8 feet deep. We lived with it for 7 long years until we found Paul to help us make our dreams of a 28 x 30 lanai. Paul was the only contractor that would span 30 feet without putting in columns in-between. That was the look we wanted to achieve. Paul told us that his goal is to make our lanai look like it existed when the house was built. And, that goal was achieved. We added a tray ceiling for two ceiling fans and put in a new sliding door that disappears into the wall when open. Love our new door. I have attached some before and after pictures. We originally had Paul visit us to assess hanging 3 85" TVs in our sanctuary at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Leesburg, Florida. He sent a crew of 2 to unbox and prepare the TVs and to install the mounts. The size and weight of the units required some more assistance to actually get the TVs on the mounts.
